AEW Game : After years of waiting, AEW has officially announced it’s wrestling video game. AEW has multiple projects at work including mobile game “AEW: Elite General Manager”. It also has a traditional wrestling game who does not has a title yet. AEW did provide some details about the AEW game in their stream to launch the game and a teaser trailer of the same.
The AEW game is expected to be a standard wrestling game having pretty good aesthetics, move-sets and lots of playable wrestling characters from the brand. So far all we know is that some wrestlers to be part of the game are Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega and Hikaru Shida. And interestingly, the AEW game is going to feature inter gender wrestling competition. Not sure if the game will be available for PC, but it will surly be a part of the next-gen consoles.

AEW Game : Trailer
The teaser trailer is more than sufficient for us to get an idea about the game and some of its key components. The graphics are not that great as compared to WWE 2K series, but the gameplay is expected to be much more entertaining than any other game. All of these high hopes that fans have, are because of the name “Yuke’s“. And last but not the least, the move-sets that the game is willing to provide is just awesome. At the end of the video, they showed us a glimpse of the Spike Tombstone Piledriver, a move made famous my the “Young Bucks”. So we certainly can expect more from the upcoming AEW game.
Yuke’s
Yuke’s is a Japanese studio which is a world renown game developer team. The Yuke’s has co-developed the WWE 2K series and has some of most famous Games made by them like Smackdown : Here Comes The Pain and WWF No Mercy (probably the best wrestling games ever). The team has the No Mercy game director Hideyuki Iwashita. It has been reported that the Yuke’s team was upset with the limitations of the game development of the 2K series, and wanted to launch a wrestling game of their own.
AEW’s roster has some great talent who are helping the game development with enthusiasm. Including the referee Aubrey Edwards who has over 10 years of experiences in video games.
The game was being teased for quite a long time but finally now we have a lead over it.
