Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is Around The Corner : Release Date, Features And More (Sept 2020)

The next generation of Assassin’s Creed franchise is about to be here. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is another most awaited game for the players around the world. Another edition to the franchise bringing another exciting experience to the players. After months of releasing the teaser trailer, Ubisoft has finally announced the launch date for the game.

The will launch on 10th of November along side the Xbox Series X and S. The game will also be available for Xbox One, PS4 and Google Stadia. The launch date announcement was made by Ubisoft on their official Tweeter account.

If you had the game purchased for your Xbox One console, then it will be free for you on both Xbox One X and S, witching to next generation might be worth a while since their are no additional charges for it. The game will be coming in 4 editions: standard, gold, ultimate and Collector’s edition.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla : Details

The upcoming edition of the franchise is based on the time of Vikings era. You will be playing the role of a Viking with whom, you get to raid the villages and can set up colonies too in England. The game is said be featuring “Visceral Combat” with the use of Axes, shields, swords and the iconic “Hidden Blades” of the Assassin’s Creed. Another great feature is that you will be able to play the character Eivor which can be either between male and female.

Gameplay and Features

Their are multiple changes have been made to the open world map as well as the combat system. List as follows:

• Their are some changes made to make the combat fun such as every hit that makes contact with the subject will be felt impactful.
• This will include the ability to decapitate your opponents with critical hits.
• In the earlier editions of the franchise, the player could carry two weapons (example:- double swords), Valhalla has brought you the ability to wield mix of two different weapons as a dual wielded weaponry.
• Shields will be back to the arsenal, as it wasn’t present in the Odyssey
• The Legendary blades of Assassin’s creed are back too.
• You will be able to throw Axes at your opponents, which is just another addition to the weapon options.
• Players will be able to travel through sea having the sailing adventure once again.
• You can do massive raid on fortresses by spotting them from water to initiate the attack with their loot hungry troops.
• Their will be huge battles fought on the ground as a part of the main story.
• Origin introduced RGB trapping will return in this game with new skill-sets and new collectibles.
• Hunting, fishing, dice, and drinking games are some open-world activities included in the game.
• With introducing something new to the game, Valhalla is bringing a competitive sports of “flyting” also know as Rap Battle.
• You will have a Raven as a bird companion.

Story of the Game

Valhalla is based on the dark ages of 9th century England. The story revolves around Eivor who is a Viking warrior leading his people to England to settle. The Antagonist of this game is said to be King Alfred of the Wessex. Not considering him as a cetral antagonist, the game offers him an essential role in the un-welfare of the Viking clan. It is said that the Layla’s modern story from Assassin’s Creed Origin ad Odyssey will be continued here.

Eivor is set to have encounters with the group of other Assassins in England. The map of the game will contain four kingdoms of England and they are Wessex, Northumbria, East Anglia, Mercia. The map will also consist some of the major cities of England: London, Winchester and Jorvik.

Others

Assassin’s Creed is said to be the first entry to the upcoming consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X. It will also be available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia, and UPlay+.

The character that you will be playing will come with lots of new customization options includes hair, tattoos, clothing, etc. You will be able to make custom party raiders which will be shareable to your friends online. You will also have to forge a home for yourself.
