COD Mobile Ends Their Partnership With Tencent.. Know Details (2020)

Activision takes a major step as COD Mobile ends partnership with Tencent games.

COD Mobile is Activision’s first survival based game lauched on mobile phones on October 1st, 2019. Like COD Warzone and COD Warfare, COD Mobile is also a survival battleground game, where the last one standing wins. But what makes it more enjoyable is its Team Deathmatch mode which brings back nostalgia and joy to player. It gives console level gaming experience as well as HD graphics just like PC and console. It allows you to do customization in your controls, text and voice chat and real-time sound for a real life like experience.

Just like PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile has also faced the backlash for being a Chinese application in past. But now its official by GamingonPhone that Activision has split ways with Tencent and TiMi studios which are Chinese companies.

COD Mobile Splits from Tencent

As we all know that COD Mobile is published by a US-based company named Activision which is quite a fun loving game on a mobile device. If you have been playing this game for a while, then you that the loading screen holds the logos of both Tencent and TiMi studios as an appreciation for their efforts. But now, as of with the update of season 9, we all have noticed that both of this logos have been removed from the loading screen of the game.

COD is quite a big name in the gaming industry, with the accessibility on all the platforms like PC, Console and Mobile. With the removal of the logos of these companies, GamingonPhone has revealed two major reasons for thier actions.

  1. The first reason is that the President of US Donald Trump has restricted all the US-based organizations from doing any sort of transaction with the Chinese company Tencent. It seems that Activision didn’t want the COD Mobile game to be affected by such circumstances at all cost. So that they parted ways with the Chinese company.
  2. The other report is stated as the Tencent games associated PUBG Mobile is seemingly copying the features from COD Mobile. They have copied the Gun Game Mode, Areal Platforms/Arenas, Locations, etc. These thing are reportedly copied and made a part of the other game.

Activision is yet to confirm these allegations but most of the tech guys around the world has stated the same theory. And some of them also believes that the campaign started by the Indian government to ban the Chinese applications had Activision concerned about the welfare of the game in the region of India.

More new about it will be brought to you as soon as possible. till then, stay tuned.
