God of War Ragnarok is the sequel of one of the most famous and successful franchise in PlayStation. It will be coming to PS5. For the past few months we had rumors about the upcoming game and how it will be making a difference.
God of War (2018) was the best thing that ever happened to PS4. This installment of the franchise had fascinating graphics as well as a hear touching story. It was a complete package of entertainment. The game received a heartwarming response from the gamers around the world.

Yet coming this far, the story hasn’t ended yet. As, Santa Monica Studio has confirmed in an even by Sony, that the franchise is going to return with another edition of the game and it will be available on the Sony’s next gen console PS5. So we are definitely going to see Kratos in action soon. It is arguably going to be the biggest addition to the roster of PS5.
God of War Ragnarok : Trailer
In the recent event of Sony, the director of God of War ‘Cory Barlog’ and Sony itself unveiled the existence God of War Ragnarok. The teaser trailer is quite short though. So we couldn’t get more detail out of it. But it indeed gave a confirmation of the upcoming game to be available soon.
The trailer video shows the iconic God of War symbol made up by ice breeze flowing around the creen with the legendary God of War-esque audio playing in the background. And after that we heard the man himself ‘Kratos’ saying, “The time draws near. You must prepare yourself.” And then, “Ragnarok is coming.” with that statement, the video ended.
More or less, one thing we are pretty sure of, is Thor is going to be here. And he will be giving Kratos taste of his wrath.
God of War Ragnarok : Release date
There is no specific data available for it but all we know is that it will be available in 2021.
Since the short teaser was released, we can assume that the gameplay is not ready to be shown. So the game may release at the fall of 2021. Sony might want to make player wait for it a bit, but will surly deliver what they expect out of it.
God of War Game (series)
The first ever God of War game was released on March 22, 2005 on PS2. Its been a phenomenal success for Sony, as this game was the best thing at that time and was only available on PS2 console. The story of this game has so much depth in it, that it usually make players want to know more about it.
The game represented Greek mythology in the past, and now it is based on Norse mythology. As we do remember Aries, Zeus and Athena from the older versions of the game. And from the recent ones, we already know Thor is here to take on Kratos. The game provides a lot of things to the players, as the stories are based on mythological timeline and the combat system of this game is way more brutal than most other games. The game gives us thrill as well as joy st the same time.
