7. Choose Your Domain Name

Go to the drop-down to select the domain name you just created in your Bluehost account. Their will be some recommended plugins, you can choose whether to install them or not.

Click Next to finalize your installation of WordPress to get above screen. Here you can see all of your WordPress login details.

8. Setup Your WordPress Site

This is your home of your WordPress website. Here you can see the sidebar on the left which contains all of your basic and initial menus to optimize your site. It also consist the plugins you added as a menu of this list.

From the main body, you can see the dedicated cards which will help you to create new pages and posts, manage your menus, you can make your website an eCommerce website with the help of WooCommerce plugin and many more.

9. Use the Quick Launch Wizard

When you will open your WordPress dashboard, you will see the Bluehost Quick Launch Wizard. It is a grate way to get your website started. Follow the given instruction to install the Jetpack plugin, a contact form with WPForm and caching for your website.

Look for the Search Keyword field. From here, you can search for any plugin that you wish to add in your website.

  • Wordfence Security
  • UpdraftPlus

You can remove these plugins anytime you want and install any of your choices.

Create Pages and Posts

Now you need content on your website. You need to start by adding pages. Go to Bluehost menu, look for Add New Pages button and click on it. The type of pages you will show on your website will vary according to your Niche of your website.

Some Recommended pages are –

  • Home Page is the place where most of your audience will land when they visit your site. Use attractive images and important content to engage with your traffic more.
  • About Page is an important page. Here you should talk about you, tell your story, introduce your team, tell about your business, and any other info that will help grow relation with your audience.
  • Contact Page is equally important. Here you can share contact mediums, social media links, map location, etc.
  • Blog is an essential page. Will help drag radiance to your site.

Publish your Website

Once your content is ready, theme is customized and setup everything, now you are ready to launch your website.

Bluehost provides a “coming soon” page on your domain until you publish your website on it. This page gives your the time and privacy you need till you are ready to publish your website.

To launch your website, click the Launch Your Site button in the wordpress dashboard menu.
