PUBG Mobile is Back : According to new reports, PUBG Mobile is returning to India. the news got confirmed soon after Tencent Games shuts down all the Indian servers. With Tencent being completely away from the scenario, all of the issues regarding data migration has been vanished. And by shutting down all the India based servers, Tencent has left an opening for PUBG to make a comback.
Their were some rumors about The possible partners to the game in which the first speculation was on Reliance Jio to bring back PUBG Mobile, since Reliance is some one can make thing happen in India real quick. But the deal didn’t seem to work. But from trusted sources, it has be confirmed that PAYTM and Airtel are in advanced stage of the deal where thing could be working out sooner than we expect so that we can say “PUBG Mobile is Back”.
The process of unban is surly taking some time because to make a return, PUBG needs a new distributor as Tencent is out of the picture. The game is owned by a Korean Company Bluehole, who had Tencent Games as a distributor of the game. Now the company is looking for a new publisher to help return PUBG Mobile in India.
A report by TechChurch says that the reboot process of PUBG Mobile in India is already under implementation, as they are reported to be working on Diwali campaign to give fans a warm surprise. And another good news is that, their will be new India specific servers which will be implemented in India itself (of course), which are going to be secured and optimized under the surveillance of the Indian Government. It means that PUBG Mobile is Back on track, just not arrived yet.
Its been a while since we are talking about the possibilities for PUBG Mobile to make a return in India, as a lot of players who are die-heart fan of the game are escalating to see their favorite battleground game to get rebooted in India, as PUBG Mobile has a huge fan base in India.
Not only them, India has a lot of Streamers who has created a fan following of their own on the basis of their gameplay. Some of the most renown players of the game are Jonathan, Scout, Mortal, CarryMinati are just to mention a few. These are some of those players who love and enjoy the game a lot and has made a name for them self with it. These are some of the names who are waiting for PUBG Mobile to get unbanned.
Its been about 3 months that the PUBG Mobile got banned by Indian government with about 117 other apps who were originated or had links towards China. All this commotion happened due to the heat between India and China as the border was facing a lot of issues. And the move was made to make sure that Chinese companies who gather the data of Indian users could be used against them and the Nation.
It did cost PUBG a huge amount of loss. Notably, about 30+ millions of dollars was the count that was landed on PUBG Corp and Tencent. To cover up the loss and to get back in command, PUBG Mobile parted its ways with Tencent Games in terms of India to get his accessibility back in India.
All these efforts are proof that India owns a huge marketplace in the world, and for PUBG, its nothing less than a 1/4th portion of the total number of players belong to the PUBG community. Over 175 millions of installations were held by Indian players. According to Entrackr, PUBG has made a mammoth of an amount, 50 crore per month from India, last year.
Some of the players were still able to play the game till end of October, until Tencent shuts down all the Indian servers, finally. With that Tencent Games has returned its publishing rights to Bluehole to seal to issue once and for all.
Now let us see, what moves PUBG is going to make to get itself back on track, do players of India get to celebrate by saying “PUBG Mobile is Back”, and what impact its going to make on the upcoming FAUG game, which is India’s own homegrown game.
